Our client, a leading Swiss insurance company, is looking to onboard a Senior SAP Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) Developer/Consultant to support a long-term digital transformation initiative. This is a rare and niche opportunity for an experienced SAP ABAP developer with deep expertise in the ICM module to take ownership of design and delivery, while engaging directly with business stakeholders in a consultative capacity.

This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who combines technical depth with business-facing communication skills, and who thrives in environments where autonomy and responsibility go hand-in-hand.

Scope:

• Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of SAP ICM components.
• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP ICM, advising internal business teams on best practices and solution approaches.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Write and maintain high-quality ABAP code with a focus on ICM functionality.
• Drive technical troubleshooting, system optimization, and performance tuning related to SAP ICM.
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards in a fully remote setup.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a senior SAP ABAP developer with significant hands-on expertise in SAP ICM (Incentive and Commission Management).
• Strong knowledge of ICM architecture, framework, and integration points.
• Ability to engage with business users and stakeholders in a consultative role.
• Fluent in German (written and spoken) – this is a must-have.
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
