The client is a leading European telecommunications provider operating an internal warehouse for the distribution, configuration, and assembly of mobile and landline devices. The warehouse operations are managed through an SAP S/4HANA system with embedded EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).

The SAP EWM solution supports several bespoke business processes in multiple variants, and the role will focus on both support and enhancement of this setup.

Scope:

The selected consultant will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and Support of the embedded SAP EWM system
• Incident Analysis and Bug Fixing
• Requirements Analysis, Blueprinting, and Functional Specification of new features
• Realization and Customizing of new business processes in EWM
• Support for Internal/External Interfaces, including an Automated Mobile Robot (AMR) solution integrated with EWM

Skills:

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP EWM (embedded in S/4HANA)
• Extensive hands-on experience with inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes (e.g., putaway, picking, packing, staging, loading)
• Expertise in warehouse order creation
• Proven experience in complex SAP EWM implementations
• Strong understanding of SAP EWM and SAP ERP (S/4HANA) integration

Configuration & Customizing:

• Full-cycle SAP EWM project implementation experience
• Customization of warehouse layouts, storage types, bin structures, and process strategies

Additional SAP Modules:

• SAP WM (Warehouse Management)
• SAP MM (Materials Management)

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of relevant SAP experience
