We are looking for Java Chapter Leads for one our global automotive clients based in Poland to join their digital transformation journey.

Location of position

 This job position is located in Wroclaw (Poland) but other locations can be considered if there is a good match between skills and profile requirement. Relocation support can be provided if needed.

Key responsibilities: 

• Support the Head of Java to develop and execute global Java strategy
• Support the Head of Java to develop and execute global competence strategy for Java Chapters
• Manage capacity planning, ensuring short and long-term competence and capacity of the Java software engineers
• Lead, support and develop the team of Java Chapter Leads
• Secure external input and best practice sharing in the community
• Secure agile ways of working

Required Skills

• Several years of leadership experience in the software development industry
• Very high level of expertise in the Java environment
• Active / recent developing background
• Fluent in English
• enjoy building and motivating high performing teams and actively participating in strategy and execution
• act as a role model for your team
• relevant university degree
